U.S. Embassy, Maputo, Mozambique General Services Office (GSO) seeks proposals from qualified, reliable firms with sufficient resources and work experience to perform the duties of packing and unpacking household effects, clearing and forwarding of effects, transportation and freight services for all inbound and outbound shipments of household effects to and from Maputo to be transported throughout the world.
This Tender of Service (TOS) will be in effect from May 01, 2022 to April 30, 2023.
This TOS provides terms and conditions for the transportation and all related services within the U.S. Embassy, Maputo Mozambique. All Transportation Service Providers (TSP) used as your agents must have a valid license/membership of the following organizations or must agree to acquire membership within 3 months of being awarded the TOS. Failure to meet the requirement will result in suspension to provide further services to the USG until proof of member ship can be provided.
A. (FIATA) International Federation of Freight Forwarders OR
B. (IAM) International Association of Movers
C. Valid International Transportation License issued by the Local Ministry of Transportation
D. Tax Number (NUIT) issued by Ministry of Finance
E. Country Wide Customs licenses from Mozambique Customs
F. Must be in good standing with the Credit Bureau.
TSP’s may only be represented under the name of one company. Multiple solicitations will produce automatic disqualification.
A complete tender of service application inclusive of the exact rate sheet format attached herewith and all the required documentation as set out in the tender of service document must be delivered to the U.S Embassy, 5467 Av. DA marginal no later than April 8, 2022 @ 16h00.
No late proposals will be accepted.
Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified.
