Message for U.S. Citizens: Consular Visit to Pemba and Nampula

April 15, 2019

A Consular Officer from U.S. Embassy Mozambique will visit the cities of Pemba and Nampula on May 8 and 9 respectively to provide consular services.  U.S. citizens seeking consular services, or who simply would like to meet the Consular Officer, should come to the Avani Pemba Beach Hotel, located on Avenida de Marginal, from 9h00 to 12h00 on May 8, or the Nampula Grand Plaza Hotel, located at 1015 Rua da Mueda, from 9h00 to 12h00 on May 9.

U.S. Embassy Mozambique offers these visits to the American community to ask any questions about consular issues in an informal atmosphere and convenient location.

The Consular Officer will accept applications for passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, absentee voter registration, and will provide notarial services.  If you would like to receive consular services in any of these locations, please contact the Consular Section at ConsularMaputo@state.gov to schedule an appointment, and receive information about required documentation.
